Author Lecture and Book Signing

Chuck Byler is a retired English teacher who served a four-year enlistment in the United States Air Force. Byler is coauthor of Tempered Steel, the biography of Colonel James Kasler, a WWII, Korean, and Vietnam War veteran who is a three-time recipient of the Air Force Cross and was held captive as a POW for more than six-and-a-half years. This program is being offered as a collaboration between the Avalon Free Public Library and The Avalon Free Public Library History Center.
